Wild Men

Deep in the Norwegian wilderness we find the Dane Martin (Rasmus Bjerg) dressed as a Viking, wandering into a store to exchange fur for groceries. He has a midlife crisis and chooses to live as our ancestors did. He meets Musa (Zaki Youssef), a drug smuggler fleeing across the border. All this is being investigated by a policeman (Bjørn Sundquist) who is looking for a tracking dog, only to be informed that it “does not work today”. The dark and subtle Scandinavian humor shines through. The script has energy! This Scandinavian comedy has a beautiful Norwegian mountain landscape as a backdrop in an absurd film that wraps modern masculinity into several layers – from fragile and modest to toxic and old-fashioned.
