The Collini Case

Based on a German bestseller by the same name, written by former lawyer Ferdinand von Schirach, who wanted to settle his grandfather’s past as the leader of Hitlerjugend.

In his first trial, a newly trained lawyer is given the task of defending a murderer who was found standing over the body with the murder weapon in his hand. The case seems obvious, but the suspect apparently lacks any kind of motive. The Collini Case is a different twist on the legal drama, where it is obvious from the outset that the perpetrator is guilty, and the lawyer’s hunt is about finding the motive for the murder. Along the way, the lawyer uncovers major weaknesses in the German justice system and a conspiracy that goes all the way back to Nazi Germany. The Collini Case is an intersection of political thriller and courtroom drama that keeps you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end.
