Romy’s Salon

Romy has to stay with grandmother Stine after school because her mother works late. Romy would rather avoid this. It’s so boring there. Grandma is so strict and only concerned with her hair salon. At the same time, it is not tempting to be with father and his new, lame girlfriend. Grandma quickly forgets and is a scatterbrain, and Romy turns out to be of great use in the salon. She has both financial flair and creates a good atmosphere for the customers. And maybe Grandma is not so boring after all? Romy’s Salon is a touching and warm story about the relationship between Romy and her grandmother who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease.
