Koko-di Koko-da
A grieving couple goes on a camping trip to find their way back to each other, when a sideshow artist and his shady entourage emerge from the woods. The three psychopaths begin terrorising the couple, luring them deeper and deeper into a maelstrom of psychological terror and humiliating slapstick. A dreamy tale of dark woods, an old man in a straw hat and a bunny family shattered to pieces.
Koko-di Koko-da was a sensation both at Sundance and Berlin, and was described as “…brutal and childlike” by Variety. Director Johannes Nyholm impresses with his masterful illustration of death as the cold, absurd, relentless nightmare it is for those left behind, who have to try to keep living despite their near insurmountable pain.
