From the Wild Sea

It’s wintertime, and volunteer marine activists across Europe are getting ready for some tough months. They work around the clock all year round to save wildlife on the coasts from life-threatening risks such as oil spills, storms or getting caught in plastics. Especially for the seals – the film’s lead roles. Climate change is making winters tougher every year, and storms are becoming more threatening.

From the Wild Sea is a creative documentary that deals with the relationship between man and nature. We join a disturbing and fascinating journey to an ever-increasing ocean. Here we are shown, among other things, all the plastic the sea animals get. From the Wild Sea paints a touching and sensual painting of our modern world and places it in on the big screen.
