Dinner in America

Simon is a rebellious punk rocker who hides from the police. Just as the cops are about to catch him, he is accidentally rescued by Patty, a shy young woman who has just been fired from her job. Patty invites him to dinner with her parents and offers him a stay there. Simon is also the vocalist in her favorite band. He seems like an arrogant and cynical bully, but the unexpected encounter with Patty awakens the nicer side in him. With punk rock as a spark, the young duo’s adventure starts, and they discover that they have more in common than music. Dinner in America is an unusual room-com, full of rebellious humor. With a frequent rock style and an energetic soundtrack, it celebrates 90’s punk.
