Howl’s Moving Castle

Sofie is a quiet girl who works in a hat shop in an idyllic small town in the 19th century, where most things are steam-powered. One day, her life is turned upside down. The country she lives in is on the brink of war with a foreign power, and proud military parades are adorned by patriotic crowds. She is bewitched by an old woman and whirls into a wonderful and spectacular adventure with a young and handsome wizard, a fat witch, a fire demon, a short-tempered dog, a brutal war, a little love and last but not least a wandering , living castle!

Howl’s Moving Castle is one of the foremost classics from Japanese Studio Ghibli, directed by master director Hayao Miyazaki. It is a firework of imagination, playfulness, vitality and creative joy!
