We’re located in France in the 18th century. At the beginning of the French Revolution, gastronomy is still a privilege for the aristocrats. When the talented chef Manceron is fired by the Duke of Chamfort, he loses interest in cooking. Back in his mansion, the encounter with the mysterious Louise gets him back on his feet. While they both avenge the duke, they decide to create the very first restaurant in France. This mouth-watering film encapsulates the beauty of the kitchen, whether it is creating or consuming. This is a comedy that makes fun of the aristocrats and their lifestyle, where the real star of the film is the food itself.
