A Machine to Live In

A city symphony of Brasilia: the capital of Brazil. Directors Yoni Goldstein and Meredith Zielke have a background in video installations and experimental films and take you on a cosmic journey in a mysterious metropolis. It is a constructed capital. A mega project built with a utopian vision. The city is a modernist architectural marvel and at the same time it is characterized by graffiti, strange cults and aging monuments. The film highlights the sacred geometry of triangles and symmetry of lines, in stunning images and a thumping, electronic soundtrack of what was to be the city of the future.
