If you suspect you are ill before the festival, please stay home. We reimburse all costs for accreditation and registered events in.

The Norwegian International Film Festival Haugesund recommends Aktimed for Covid-19 antigen and PCR testing. Some of our guests will need a negative Covid-test to re-enter their country of residency. They can book a test at Aktimed Haugesund at They offer daily testings at 12.30PM as long as they have capacity. The appointment must be booked at least 24 hours in advance.

Antigen tests are NOK1435, and an English confirmation of test results is an additional NOK350.
PCR tests are NOK2500, and an english confirmation of test results is an additional NOK350.
Antigen tests will have results ready in 20 minutes. PCR tests will be ready within 24 hours.
Aktimed is located at Longhammarvegen 7, 5536 Haugesund, and has a dedicated test barrack on site.



Because of COVID-19, all festival passes this year will be issued with name and barcode. All festival participants will be scanned into all film screenings and events so that we can trace infections if needed. The festival pass is therefore personal with a name and should not be used by others. Festival passes must be brought to all events and screenings.

Please note that we store your contact information for 14 days after the end of the festival, and that name lists will be shared with the municipal supervisor if there is a need for infection detection.

Haugesund Municipality’s test telephone 481 06 331 – the telephone is operated by health personnel between 08.30 am and 3.00 pm on weekdays and at 10:00 am – 12:30 pm on Saturday and Sunday, or contact your own GP.

If you have symptoms and suspect that you are infected, isolate yourself and contact the festival’s infection control manager: 920 26 016 who will then notify the municipality’s infection control doctor for further decisions.
